Frequently Asked Questions
* Residential Events: A deposit of no more than $50.00 is required to secure the date and time of your party or event.
Commercial Events: A deposit of 25% down may be required for orders where the product subtotal equals $2000.00 or greater.
* Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the party or event.
* Deposits may be made by paying securely by credit/debit card through our online booking form. This is the preferred method as the invoice also serves as your contract and receipt. As soon as your deposit is paid, your reservation is secured.
* For businesses, towns, churches and schools: You may pay the deposit by check made payable to Carolina Fun Factory and mailed to: 831 Priest Hill Rd, Carthage NC 28327. This method of reservation is much slower and check MUST clear bank before reservation is secured.
* There is a $50.00 fee in addition to the full check amount for any check returned by the bank as unpaid.
* Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE except under the conditions outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
* Final payment must be paid by cash or credit card in full prior to set up of equipment for RESIDENTIAL customers. Final payment must be paid by cash, or credit card, or check for COMMERCIAL customers prior to set up of equipment.
* Checks are NOT an acceptable form of final payment from private parties. Businesses, churches, schools and other organizations MUST have prior approval in writing from our office that a check will be accepted as final payment. You are also able to make your final payment by ACH payment.
We are constantly watching the weather with you to determine if weather may be a factor for your event date.
As weather forecasts can change drastically and repeatedly within days of your event, we do not typically make weather calls until about 48 hours prior to your event date.
We do not consider rain showers to be a considerable factor in making a weather-related cancellation. If rain showers are in the forecast within a percentage of 75% or less then that is not a factor that we consider to be a weather-related cancellation.
If severe weather including lightning and wind speeds of 15 mph or greater is in the forecast within a percentage of 60% or greater then that IS a factor that we consider to be a weather-related cancellation.
Safety is our #1 concern! Carolina Fun Factory reserves the right to cancel items within your order if weather conditions present a danger to you, your guests, our crew members, and/or our equipment. If WEATHER (heavy rain, thunderstorms, snow/ice, windspeeds consistently higher than 15mph throughout your event time) forecasted before your event date forces the cancellation of your event then you may:
a) Reschedule your event with us if available
b) Keep your deposit in our system as a rain check
c) Request a refund of your deposit... Please note that banks take 5 to 7 business days to actually put the money back in your account.
Cancellations, for any other reason other than weather, made less than 2 weeks from your event date will result in a forfeiture of your deposit. However, if Carolina Fun Factory has to cancel with you due to unforeseen circumstances then we will refund your deposit.
Cancellations made more than 2 weeks ahead of event will result in the deposit being held as a raincheck to be used within 1 year from the cancellation date.
Prices listed online include normal grass set-up of inflatables, games, tents, and removal of same. Normal grass set up is defined as an area where inflatables and tents can be staked to the ground.
Any applicable tax, gratuity, damage waivers are NOT included in the listed price.

While we do cover a large delivery area within central North Carolina, we also do have minimum orders for each area.
Our home office is based in Carthage, NC which is in Moore County, North Carolina. When serving areas outside of our listed delivery area round-trip mileage is calculated based on travel time to your location from ours plus any additional personnel needed to deliver and set up.
If you do not see your area listed or are planning an event that may require multiple delivery vehicles or personnel then please call our office Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
There is an additional charge of $100.00 for deliveries and/or pickups that require an EXACT time. Example: Parks and pavilions
Delivery to residential clients: For private parties scheduled on Saturday, we will often (but not always) deliver on Friday at our convenience between the hours of 8am and 5pm. If you are NOT flexible with your delivery day but need a same-day delivery/pick up then please know that there is an additional $50.00 charge to cover sending a delivery crew specifically to deliver your rental items.
IMPORTANT: Your party or event MUST actually be held IN the city that you will choose from the drop-down list when placing your order. If it is discovered at any time that your party is not actually located in the city that you have selected from the drop-down list that your order WILL BE CANCELLED without notice and there will be NO REFUND of the deposit. If the city your event is being held in is not listed in the drop-down list, please call. 910-986-4774 to discuss availability to serve your area.
The following items are permitted to be picked up by customers:
- Small Bounce Houses
- Inflatable Games
- Portable Mini Golf
- Carnival Games
Other than the above-listed items, customers do not pick up rental items. This is to ensure that rental items such as inflatables and tents are properly installed to correct manufacturer specifications.
Our pricing covers a rental period of UP TO 5 hrs.
You may select any 5-hour rental period between 12 pm and 7 pm. Anything beyond 5 hours is charged an additional $25 per hour. PLEASE NOTE...You are NOT selecting the delivery and pickup times, you are selecting your event start time and end time (or UP TO a 5-hour window you want the rental for).
If your event starts before 12 pm then call our office for assistance with your order so we can override the time selector. Events that start before 12 pm will be priced at the 5-hour rate + number of hours prior to 12 pm. Example: 10 am til 5 pm = 7 hours. The price covers up to 5 hours, the additional 2 hours are priced at $25 per hour.
We do not offer pick-ups to be scheduled after 7 pm. If you wish to keep your rental past 7 pm then select "overnight" as your end time and you will automatically roll over into an overnight charge. The overnight charge is 30% of your subtotal.
You can count on your party rentals being delivered and set up ahead of your party start time. During the busy season, we often have to start deliveries the day before the actual event date to ensure that we get everyone's orders delivered on time. We count on our residential customers being flexible with our delivery teams to allow us to serve everyone with delightful customer service.
Our office staff will send out a text message to residential customers with the delivery day and a 2-hour delivery window. Unless you have selected that you need Same-Day Delivery or a Park Set-Up (additional charges apply)
Delivery drivers will call or text when they are on the way to your location.
Residential customers do NOT have to be at their location for the party rentals to be delivered. However, you must have your contract signed and you must have the spot marked where you want your inflatable or tent to be set up.
Because our deliveries are so time-sensitive and we want to serve all of our valued customers in a timely manner, If your site is not ready (for example you are still mowing your yard, haven't cleaned up dog droppings or toys, need to go get the generator) we will skip you and come back around as time allows. At this point, we are not responsible for any delays in setting up your rental equipment or any delays in your event that may result due to your site not being ready. You will also be subject to a Re-delivery Fee of no less than $50.00.
If your residential location is within a gated community then please make sure that Carolina Fun Factory is listed on the guest list. Carolina Fun Factory is not responsible for any delays in setting up your rental equipment or any delays in your event that may result due to delays entering your gated community due to not being listed on the guest list. You will also be subject to a Re-delivery Fee of no less than $50.00.
You can count on your event rental items being delivered and set up ahead of your event time. We know how long we need to set up the items on your order and will plan our time accordingly.
We will communicate with the point of contact indicated on your invoice the time that our delivery team will arrive at the set-up location.
The event promoter or agent MUST be at the location to meet our delivery team and direct our delivery team where to set up.
Please keep in mind that large orders require an extended set-up time. We will let you know what time we need to be at your location to set up so that your event can start on time.
If your event representative is not on-site to show our delivery team where to set the attractions up then any delay to the start time of your event is NOT the responsibility of Carolina Fun Factory or any of its agents.
You may order online up to 48 hours prior to your party date.
Call our office if your party is the next day to check availability. For example, if you have been waiting to see what the weather will do on a Saturday and you wait until Friday to place your order then you will need to call the office at 910-986-4774.
Please note that Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are our busiest days, and phones are checked occasionally for messages or texts.
Same-day orders are generally not taken due to our routing already being in place for customers who ordered early.
All rentals should be clean each and every time you get them. Carolina Fun Factory as a company takes safety seriously and always cleans and disinfects after every rental.
We have always used cleaners that are CDC approved. We use a multi-step method to ensure our customer's safety.:
1 - We clean each piece of rental equipment (not just inflatables, but all rental equipment such tables and chairs, games, etc) at our warehouse using a vacuum to get all debris out and a CDC-approved cleaner and sanitizer that kills 99.9% of all germs. This has always been our cleaning process.
2- We sanitize again at your location, right in front of you so that you can see that it is being done, and rest assured that measures are taken to control all transmissible viruses including the COVID-19 virus.
Customer safety and confidence are our top priorities! We have ALWAYS been conscientious about cleanliness.
A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise all activities in and around the inflatable unit or games while they are in use.
The adult must know and enforce all safety rules. Safety rules are printed on a placard outside of each inflatable. The renter is responsible for the safety of all participants and the care of the equipment.
If damage occurs due to failure to follow safety rules or negligence (for example: Silly String on the inflatable, drinks, and food inside of the inflatable, oils, and soaps on the water slide, failing to protect the blower during a rain shower) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower, etc which can cost thousands of dollars.
Use of Silly string in one of our inflatables results in a cleaning and damage fee of no less than $200.00.
Applying any product to any inflatable included, but not limited to dish detergent, baby oil, suntan oil, any type of oily substance or product not approved for application on an inflatable will result in a cleaning and damage fee of no less than $200.00
The Damage Waiver DOES NOT COVER Silly String, intentional cuts, damage from cigarettes, fire pits and/or fireworks, oils, and soaps,
Park deliveries require an exact time for coordinating your delivery.
Deliveries can not be made at that location unless you or your representative are physically present at that location and will remain physically present at that location for the duration of the time that Carolina Fun Factory equipment is at that location.
Park deliveries incur an Exact Time charge of $100.00 to cover the additional adjustments made to our route that day and oftentimes an additional crew that has to be brought in to make sure we coordinate with you to deliver at an exact time.
When placing your order online please include the name of the park and any booth number in the "Location Name" portion of the order form.
When placing your order online please be sure to select the Exact Time selector.
When placing your order online please be sure to include in the Customer Comments section what exact time you will be at that location to receive your delivery.
Please remember that it takes time to set up the rental items. When planning your time to meet with us at your location plan on no less than 45 minutes lead time to allow your rental items to be set up and sanitized again before your guests start arriving.
For private residences, we draw power from your home. We bring extension cords up to 100 feet to reach the power outlet at your home.
If your power outlet exceeds 100 feet then you may need a generator.
You are not required to rent a generator from Carolina Fun Factory if you have your own... however, if your generator is not at the setup location upon our arrival then we will NOT be able to set up your inflatable. We can NOT leave the inflatable and let you set it up later. If your generator fails to operate you are still paying the full amount on your invoice.
Please note: Use of generators is NOT recommended for water slides. Generators must be kept topped off with fuel or they will stop running. If you rent a generator from Carolina Fun Factory then it will come full of fuel and have an approximate 4 hour run time. YOU will be responsible for providing your own unleaded gasoline to re-fill the generator. To re-fill the generator all occupants must be off of the inflatable. The generator must be shut off for re-filling. Once re-filled you may then turn the generator back on and re-inflate the inflatable then once fully inflated you may allow play to resume.
The first day is charged at the regular price then each additional day is just 50% each day. The 50% price rule will not charge extra for items like tables, chairs, concessions. The price rule applies to most large ticket items such as tents and inflatables.
When placing your order start by selecting your date and your start time of your event.
Next, select the button for multiple days and choose the date range that you wish to keep your items.
Tents are very labor-intensive and time-intensive to set up so these are done during the week so our delivery crews are not taken off of their normal routes.
If you are unable to accommodate your tent rental being set up during the week at our convenience and need a setup or takedown on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday then please note that additional charges will be applied to your order. These charges start at $100 and up depending on the size and number of tents you are ordering.
